March marks the celebration for International Women's Day.
We will be joining this global celebration by presenting...

Clairvoyance and the Heartbreak of Seeing

A night of poetry, photography and spirituality ...

Anjanette will be reading her unpublished poetry, and exhibiting her photographs taken in her travels through various countries.

Anjanette Delgado is an Emmy award-winning writer and multimedia producer with over eighteen years of experience in broadcast, cable, print, and online environments, both nationally and internationally. She has produced for CNN, NBC, Univision and Telemundo, among others, producing extensive coverage for events such as the 1991 Gulf War, the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and the sustained 24-hour coverage of the present war with Iraq, which she executive-produced for Telemundo in 2003. She won her first Emmy for her human-interest series "Madres en la lejanía," about the plight of Latino mothers who leave their own children behind and come to the United States to work illegally as nannies.

Her first sitcom, "Great in Bed" was bought and is set to be produced by HBO Latin America, and her first novel, The Heartbreak Pill was published in 2008 and 2009 by Simon & Schuster's Atria Books, and won the International Latino Book Award for Best Romance in English in 2009.

Anjanette, a Puerto Rico native is hard at work on her second novel, The Clairvoyant of Calle Ocho.

She lives in Miami, Florida, and her very favorite quote is "When you're going through hell, keep going," by Winston Churchill.

Zu Galeria Fine Arts is Little Havana's boutique d'art. We have been operating for the last 4 years, and specialize in all original works of art by our roster of exclusive artists. For the last two years we have developed a night a month offering poetry in Spanish, and it has been a tremendous success. Therefore, I wanted to include another night a month to present poetry and other literary forms in English. This is my first try!
Join me in this new adventure!
